EMOTIV is seeking a Senior Visual Designer for the EMOTIV group of companies (EMOTIV Inc, EMOTIV Research, and EMOTIV Vietnam). You will play a crucial role in creating engaging and on-brand visual assets for a wide range of cross-platform mobile, desktop, and web applications. Your primary responsibility will be to craft visual designs that effectively communicate our brand's message across our website, products, and marketing collateral. Working closely with our in-house UX/UI team, front-end developers, and marketing teams, you will ensure a cohesive brand experience for EMOTIV.
What You'll Do
- You will translate business strategies into design requirements and implementations, ensuring a unified and impactful visual representation of EMOTIV across all digital platforms.
- You will maintain and evolve visual concepts using advanced graphic design tools and software, focusing on cross-platform application design.
- Collaborate with UX/UI Designers, front-end developers, marketing, and other stakeholders to produce compelling visual media and assets.
- Test and refine graphical assets to ensure optimal performance across various platforms.
- Support the UX/UI team in maintaining a cohesive design system across all EMOTIV projects.
Education and Experience You'll Bring
- 2-5 years or more of professional visual design experience, with a focus on mobile, desktop, and SaaS applications.
- Excellent skills in Figma, with a strong ability to use this tool to create high-quality visual designs.
- A stellar online portfolio showcasing your work on a variety of mobile and desktop SaaS applications, as well as graphic design experience such as logos, posters, and effective use of typography.
- Experience with creating, applying and maintaining modern design systems.
- Demonstrated expertise in visual design, UI, and UX principles.
- Ability to create and own complex user flows, accounting for every edge case.
- Bonus skills: Experience with Interaction Design (IxD) and interface animations.
- Excellent spoken and written English communication skills.
- Willingness to take meetings a few times a week during working hours by EST (NYC/Miami).
