To empower the developer community, Emotiv is offering a version of our Software Development Kit as a free download.

SDKLite™ is a suite of development tools for the creation and integration of applications that are fully compatible with the Emotiv EPOC™ consumer neuroheadset.

To assist developers who do not yet have access to beta SDK headsets, SDKLite includes EmoComposer™, a tool which emulates the output of the Emotiv EPOC headset and provides scripting functionality to simulate real-time detections.

BY CLICKING ON THE "Send my request" BUTTON ABOVE OR INSTALLING OR USING ALL OR ANY PORTION OF THE SDK, YOU ARE ACCEPTING ALL OF THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF THE SDK AGREEMENT. YOU AGREE THAT THIS AGREEMENT IS ENFORCEABLE LIKE ANY WRITTEN NEGOTIATED AGREEMENT SIGNED BY YOU.

IF YOU DO NOT AGREE TO ALL OF THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS, YOU WILL NOT BE GIVEN ACCESS TO THE SDK. EMOTIV CAN CHANGE THESE TERMS AT ANY TIME BY POSTING AN UPDATED VERSION ON THE SDK DOWNLOAD PORTAL. THEREAFTER, IT WILL BE YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO REVIEW THE NEW TERMS TO SEE IF YOU AGREE WITH THE NEW TERMS AS IT CREATES A BINDING LEGAL AGREEMENT BETWEEN YOU AND EMOTIV. IF YOU USE THE SDK AFTER EMOTIV HAS CHANGED ANY OF THESE TERMS, YOU ARE AGREEING TO ALL OF THE CHANGES. AGAIN, IF YOU DO NOT AGREE, PLEASE DON'T USE THE SDK.

IF YOU WISH TO USE THE SDK AS AN EMPLOYEE, CONTRACTOR, OR AGENT OF A CORPORATION, PARTNERSHIP OR SIMILAR ENTITY, THEN YOU MUST BE AUTHORIZED TO SIGN FOR AND BIND THE ENTITY IN ORDER TO ACCEPT THE TERMS OF THIS AGREEMENT. THE LICENSES GRANTED UNDER THIS AGREEMENT ARE EXPRESSLY CONDITIONED UPON ACCEPTANCE BY SUCH AUTHORIZED PERSONNEL.

IF YOU HAVE ENTERED INTO A SEPARATE WRITTEN LICENSE AGREEMENT WITH EMOTIV FOR USE OF THE SDK, THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SUCH OTHER AGREEMENT SHALL PREVAIL OVER ANY CONFLICTING TERMS OR CONDITIONS IN THIS AGREEMENT.
