I'm sure you've all got a lot on your plates but I'm getting frustrated with getting no responses to my support querys as to whether or not my money (check) has even arrived there or not.

In the first place the order system is very unusual in that the "support ticket" process seems like bad code. IMHO it should be reworked and a standard shopping cart solution implemented. Use support for support. The support thing will not scale and someday (soon) you will want that scaleability.

So has my check arrived yet? Will my 2 weeks wait time clock be started sometime soon?

Hi Tom,
Apologies for the difficulty. You are correct about the scalability of the Trouble Ticket system. We get literally hundreds of tickets raised in response to a known global problem like our recent Paypal issue, where web payments stopped working. It takes a long time to work through each of these and other issues get lost. We made broadcast announcements but this did not stop the individual reports coming in. We will have to work out a strategy to deal with this long term. FYI, the web store shopping cart system has functioned pretty well for almost a year, except when our main payment method goes through an involuntary shut-down as happened recently.

For the good news, I quote from the latest response to your Trouble Ticket:

Dear Thomas,

We have received your cheque and your account has been updated. All of the software products are delivered via electronic download directly to your account. Please log into "My Emotiv" and go to the "Purchases" section. You will also find your serial keys for installation there.

The headset will ship out within 24-48 hours.
