First off, congratulations on the installation, worked flawlessly. For the sensors it took me awhile to figure out that they had to all be twisted fairly hard (used small needle-nose) in the applicator pack. After that, I no longer had the problem with 6 of them dropping off when I would remove the headset. (had to remember to feel the snap in putting them on the headset). I would include that in the directions.
Secondly I was surprised at how easy it was to get the green signal for the sensors having made contact. I was definitely expecting it to be more difficult than it was. Its incredibly dry here so sensors started losing contact after 30 minutes or so, but that is no doubt adjustable by the initial wetness. I also own the Neurosky, but wanted a multichannel device for measuring neuro-synchronicity. I love the lite weight & minimalist design of this. All in all I am feeling very happy with this purchase. |

Thanks for the kind feedback! How did you manage with the detections and applications?

The only app that I have tried so far is the Epoc Brain Map. It was the availability of this app that triggered my decision to purchase this as I am not a gamer. I really like this app. I have a couple of requests, and I hope that this app is very popular so that development will continue. First off I would like to be able to select a frequency within the four bands, and then select a width, so that if i only wanted to train for 11-13 Hz in the alpha band, (instead of the 7-13 Hz that is the default) I would first select 12 Hz, and then select 1 as the width, which would give me the 11-13 Hz. Secondly, I would like to have someway of recording the session, so I can do a comparison over time as to how I am improving (amount of time at desired frequency across multiple lobes of brain).
BTW, your filtering must be insanely good. I had a muscle twitch that was going on in my scalp at times which I thought was going to destroy the readings. But it had no effect! Kudos to your developers!
