Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Mid-Level QA Engineer to join our growing team in Hanoi. As a QA Engineer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software and hardware products. You will collaborate closely with the development team and other stakeholders throughout the product development lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for software and hardware products.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.
- Report and track defects, and verify bug fixes.
- Collaborate with the development team to analyze and resolve issues.
- Participate in product design reviews to provide feedback on quality and testability.
- Contribute to the improvement of QA processes and methodologies.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest testing tools and technologies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- 4+ years of experience in software testing, preferably in a hardware-software integrated environment.
- Solid understanding of QA methodologies and principles.
- Experience in testing desktop and mobile applications.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language, such as Python, Java, Typescript, enabling the creation of scripts and automation.
- Experience in testing websocket and C++ library API.
- Familiarity with bug tracking systems such as Jira, Bugzilla, Mantis, or Asana; understanding of bug tracking workflows, including bug logging, prioritization, assignment, and resolution.
- Knowledge of test management tools such as TestRail, Zephyr, or Xray; understanding of test management processes, including requirements gathering, test case creation, test execution, and defect tracking.
- Proficiency in test data management and test environment setup.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication in Vietnamese and English, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience working with EEG or other bio-signals time series data is a plus.
