How can I ensure good contact quality with the electrode?
Good contact between the electrodes and the skin is essential for acquiring valid electrophysiological signals. You can ensure that by following these steps:
- Press firmly on the electrode patch to remove any air bubbles between the electrodes and the skin surface. It is recommended to do this on each electrode even when air bubbles are not plainly visible.
- Make sure the device is not too tight against the skin.
- Make sure there is no makeup, lotion, or other artificial substances on the skin where the electrodes will be placed. Keep the skin dry.
