Note A — Price is not signed off. Engineering flagged the $15,000 figure as unexpectedly high and queried whether it reflects a medical-grade variant.
Note B — CONFIRMED: the PRO accepts both dry and wet sensors. Engineering confirms both sensor types are supported, with the common pattern being fully dry or fully wet and mix-and-match possible. The live product page currently describes dry sensors only and understates the product — it should be updated. Awaiting confirmation of the exact wet sensor type (saline felt as per EPOC X, or Ag/AgCl + gel as per Flex 2) before this cell is finalised, since the wording differs between those two.
Note C — Magnetometer range conflict, and output channel list unconfirmed. Magnetometer: the live product page states ±4900 µT. Engineering states the PRO uses a BMM350 at ±2000 µT. The ±4900 µT figure is the AK09916 magnetometer inside the ICM-20948 — the end-of-life part used in EPOC X — so the product page appears to carry a copied figure. Do not publish either value until confirmed in writing.
Full engineering spec as given: BHI360 6-axis (3 gyro + 3 accel, ±4G) + BMM350 3-axis magnetometer slave, with full-speed on-chip sensor fusion to stabilise drift. Outputs described as 16-bit, normalised quaternions (absolute orientation, no gimbal lock, unitless) in place of raw axes.
Still needed for this cell: the exact output channel list and count. Whether quaternions replace all raw axes (output = 4 channels) or only the gyro (output = 4 quaternions + 3 accel + 3 mag = 10 channels); whether raw gyro/accel/mag remain available alongside the fused output; and the gyro full-scale range in dps, which was never given. The existing page convention describes a "9 axis sensor" listing 10 outputs, so the current wording is already loose across all products.
Note D — New connectivity row required. The current schema has four connectivity sub-rows and none of them can hold Wi-Fi 6, which is one of the PRO's main differentiators. A fifth sub-row is needed, with "-" for the other four products.
Note E — Battery life not yet available. Engineering: too soon for figures. Known directionally — active amplification adds no extra load, but 24-bit + 2 extra channels increase wireless load and reduce life; 512 Hz draws more than 256 Hz, which draws more than 128 Hz; on-device CQ indicators add draw depending on use. Onboard recording is expected to run well beyond 8 hours, likely past storage capacity. Build the cell, leave it empty.
Note F — 512 Hz is firmware-pending. Internal sampling rate and filters are unchanged from EPOC X (2048 Hz internal, same filter chain). Asterisk the 512 SPS figure and footnote it as a future firmware update, matching the treatment on the product page. Separately: the PRO uses 2× 8-channel synchronous ADCs, where EPOC X uses sequential sampling via multiplexer. There is no row for this today — worth considering as an addition, since simultaneous sampling is a genuine technical advantage.
Note H — Dynamic Range is stated twice on the live page, and the two don't quite match. Individual product cards show ±4.17 mV. A second summary table further down the same page (titled "Technical Specifications") shows 8400 µV(pp) for the same four products. ±4.17 mV peak-to-peak actually converts to 8340 µV(pp), not 8400 — a small rounding mismatch that predates the PRO addition. Recommend picking one format and one figure and using it consistently in both places; this doc uses "±4.17 mV (8400 µV pp)" as a placeholder pending that decision.
Note G — Pre-existing inconsistency. The comparison page lists Frustration under Emotional States for Epoc X and Flex 2; the EPOC X product page lists Stress. Insight 2 lists Stress in both places. Needs a decision, and whichever is correct should be applied to the PRO column too.
